I'm sorry to have to announce that three of our announced guests, Leah Moore, John Reppion, and Kim Newman, are not able to attend P-CON this year, due to other commitments. We send them our best wishes, and hope we shall see them over her at some time in the future.
However, we are very pleased to announce that Irish author
John Connolly will be attending the convention as a guest.

We've just launched our lovely new site, courtesy of CE Murphy, with some additional knob-twiddling from James Shields. There's a lot of content to be added, but we're working on this as I write. Guest bios are now up for our two Guests of Honour, Robert Rankin and Bryan Talbot, and also for guests Juliet E McKenna, Professor Kate Laity, and Sarah Pinborough, with the rest to follow as soon as we get them finished.
We've also put up a Join Up page, so that you can join the convention online, with payments being taken via PayPal.

The guest list for 2012's Phoenix Convention is already filling up quite nicely. Besides our two Guests of Honour, Robert Rankin and Bryan Talbot, we also have Michael Carroll, George Green, Conor Horgan, Professor KA Laity, Ian McDonald, Juliet E McKenna, Leah Moore, CE Murphy, Kim Newman, Sarah Pinborough and John Reppion coming along to some or all of the convention. A nice mix of old friends and new faces.
Biographies and photographs of all of these will start to appear on the site here soon, and as they're completed, I'll announce them on this blog.

We are pleased to announce that P-CON IX will take place in a new venue, the Irish Writers' Centre on Parnell Square in Dublin over the first weekend of March, 2012.
The convention will have two Guests of Honour, writer Robert Rankin and comics creator Bryan Talbot, along with a number of other guests, who will be announced shortly.
