Softly has been living with
Chaz Brenchley
for forty-six years, and he bears the scars to prove it. As Chaz is not
allowed to travel by himself, Softly has circled the globe several
times; this particular portrait shows him in the Ritz in Taipei, after
the chambermaids had played with him. He has a history of charming
chambermaids. Also, he has been hunted across London by a convicted
murderer, and he has been talked about in more gossip columns than Chaz.
