New P-CON Site, Just in Time For Octocon!

We've just launched our lovely new site, courtesy of CE Murphy, with some additional knob-twiddling from James Shields. There's a lot of content to be added, but we're working on this as I write. Guest bios are now up for our two Guests of Honour, Robert Rankin and Bryan Talbot, and also for guests Juliet E McKenna, Professor Kate Laity, and Sarah Pinborough, with the rest to follow as soon as we get them finished.

We've also put up a Join Up page, so that you can join the convention online, with payments being taken via PayPal. We'll also shortly have an online membership list. We're giving people the option of listing their own 'real' name, their 'badge' name, that is whatever name they will have on their badge, for instance their usual online identity - my own name is Pádraig Ó Méalóid, but I'm also known around the Internet as Slovobooks - or there's a third option to have no name listed beside your membership number, if that's what you wish.

Lastly, we're working on the Committee page, so that you'll know who to blame if it all goes horribly wrong! Which it wont. We promise.

We had promised ourselves that we'd have the site upgraded in time for Octocon, which is taking place this weekend (15 & 16 October, 2011). We're going to have a table there, so come along and say hello, and join up!
