Guests for P-CON IX

The guest list for 2012's Phoenix Convention is already filling up quite nicely. Besides our two Guests of Honour, Robert Rankin and Bryan Talbot, we also have Michael Carroll, George Green, Conor Horgan, Professor KA Laity, Ian McDonald, Juliet E McKenna, Leah Moore, CE Murphy, Kim Newman, Sarah Pinborough and John Reppion coming along to some or all of the convention. A nice mix of old friends and new faces.

Biographies and photographs of all of these will start to appear on the site here soon, and as they're completed, I'll announce them on this blog.

And I should introduce myself: I'm Pádraig Ó Méalóid, once and future Chairman. There will be a committee page going up soon also, so that you'll all know who to blame if it all goes horribly wrong!

The site itself should slowly expand, as I figure out how to do things, and, besides the guest and committee information already mentioned, there'll also be a membership list and an online join-up page.

If you've any concerns, or anything you've always wanted to ask about cons, there's a 'Contact us' button just over to the left, so don't be afraid to ask anything, and we'll try to respond here, but with names removed to protect the innocent.
