Cheryl Morgan

Cheryl Morgan is a world renowned Science Fiction blogger; a fanzine editor; semiprozine editor, and all round great fan writer.  Cheryl’s Mewsings is her blog.  She is also responsible for Science Fiction Awards Watch and is Non-fiction Editor at Clarkesworld.

Emerald City, Cheryl’s fanzine, earned her the Hugo Award for Best Fanzine in 2004.  Other Hugo nominations include Best Web Site, Best Semiprozine, and this year she has been nominated for Best Fan Writer.  Good luck in August, Cheryl.

Apart from being nominated for, and winning, Hugos at Worldcon, Cheryl also lends a hand and has been actively involved in the backroom activities involved in organising Anticipation, the 2009 WorldCon being held in Montreal.

Cheryl is also busy with the campaign to retain “Best Semiprozine” category in the Hugo Awards.  I think we all support her in this regard.

P-Con VI saw Cheryl’s first visit to the Convention when she attended as a Member.  I am delighted she accepted the invitation to return in 2010 as a Guest.
