Phoenix Convention

A delegation from the Phoenix Convention Committee present a cheque for €1,300  to Paul Downes, Superintendent of St. John Ambulance Brigade, Walkinstown.  This money was raised during P-Con VI in March, 2009.

In accepting the donation, Superintendent Downes expressed his gratitude to the members of P-Con VI for their generosity and informed all present that the money would be used in the purchase of a defibrillator.

Presenting the cheque is Christine Darcy, accompanied by Aoife Darcy, Peter McClean, Fiona Darcy and Aidan Darcy.
